Imhoff Equestrian Center is the place to go if you’d like to ride a horse on the beach. The equestrian center offers two hour rides 3 times a day with experienced guides taking you along the waters edge on the beautiful Noordhoek beach towards the towering cliffs of Chapmans Peak. Catch the sunset, go at 5pm in the summer. Noordhoek beach is the largest beach in Cape Town. It’s spectacularly large and expansive, has an untouched feel and mostly without people.
All levels of experience are welcome with a minimum age of 12 years. Booking is essential, so call them beforehand.
While you’re there stroll around Imhoff farm village, which has intriguing craft shops, restaurants, coffee shops, a surf shop and farm stalls. They even have Camel Rides at Imhoff farm.
